VKC winner with Fides variety

Telers Firma Gebr. Zuydgeest en T. Olsthoorn & Zonen B.V. deden in de maand mei mee met hun inzendingen bij de VKC keuring in de Keukenhof.
Zuydgeest De Lier behaalde de hoofdprijs, hun ras Rio (met 5 stek in een 23cm schaal) werd gewaardeerd met een 9,7! Olsthoorn verdiende een 9,4 met het ras Dabo.

Fides zette beide klanten voor hun prestaties in het zonnetje en trakteerde hen op een lekkere taart.

Calandiva cake for countess

The Italian Contessa di Pralormo was happy to receive this tasteful Calandiva cake. Each year the countess organizes a tulip festival in the park at her country estate, near Turin. This year flower arranging demonstrations with more than 400 florists took place. She also organizes each year special activities for children, which attracted the attention of the Dutch Agriculture attaché in Turin. This year the tenth anniversary of the festival was celebrated. Therefore the Dutch Embassy, the Flower Council and Fides offered her this large cake.
