On Monday, August 30, Agora Kontich will receive hundreds of florists on the opening day. During these day Calandiva will be the centre of interest in Antwerp.

In the Cash and Carry, florists can also purchase Calandiva, stimulated by attractive presentations with this wonderful product. In short: this opening has a new meaning this year and is a true success for the one and only Diva.

1st Calandiva ® Challenge only for the very best

Thursday, August 26th was the day of the first Calandiva® Challenge! This day was entirely devoted to the sea and sailing. Of course, the flowering and flower power of Calandiva® and its number one market position got emphasized. Besides Calandiva® growers, also key trade contacts were invited. With this, it became the perfect day for networking and to strengthen business contacts.

The day can fairly be remembered as successful, nice and wet. The day began with several presentations about marketing and the leading role that Calandiva® has on the market. There was also room to deepen the leadership of Calandiva® and what this means for the future.

After the lunch, the most sporty program part started. That the present wanted to resist a fierce North Sea, became clear when the three boats set sail. Wind, rain and waves were bravely defied. Again, Calandiva® maintains itself as true number one in all circumstances. In short, the promise that this first edition would be a special event, it was completely true.

It is intended that the Calandiva® Challenge is an annual event. One thing is sure: this first edition was certainly a successful start!

Calandiva® visits Pavlovsk Palace near Saint Petersburg

Calandiva® visited the Palace Gardens of the Pavlovsk Palace near Saint Petersburg. Here, she showed al her grace at this huge flower event, which, spread over two days, reached an enormous record of visitors of 100,000! Calandiva® Birkin and Tylo presented their qualities to the massive amount of Russian florists.

Calandiva was shown in a true outdoor creation. This was done, to adorn the double flowered Kalanchoe as the Diva of the palace. Arranger Ton van Jaarsveld showed visitors what can be done with this quality product by arranging a masterpiece what was never seen before. Wedding shows, special pink packages and various florist trainings took place in the beautiful ambience of the palace gardens and buildings.
