Calandiva® celebrates 150 year existence of the Italian Republic

Calandiva® adorned the jubilee of the Italian Republic with a very special treat; a big cake int the colors of the Italian flag was made with a large number Calandiva's. This cake can be seen in the landscape of Castle Pralormo (Turin area) until May 1. This proves the colourfulness of the Diva!

The Pralormo family had an important role in the establishment of Italy. The former Count of Pralormo was in that age the Minister of Interior and in the same time headed as ambassador for Prime Minister Cavour.
The opening of the festivities was made by Count Carlo Beraudo Pralormo, in the presence of the Italian vice Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the estate and castle proclaimed "Official Site of Power". With this, this location will be remembered forever as a prominent and special place in Italy. A special memorial was revealed to remember this dat. During the walk around the estate, the cake of Calandiva's got a lot of attention. The recognition of the Italian colors gave the proud Italians a high esteem.


Theme
For the twelfth time in history, it was decided that the theme of the celebration would be "Tricolore", to use for the commemoration of the unification of Italy. Calandiva, with its broad range in many colors, lends itself well for this of course. The Diva offers the widest colour palette available.
