Calandiva® number 1 at IPM Essen!

At 1-1-11, the Calandiva number 1 campaign has been launched. This year Calandiva, the best decorative Kalanchoe, will be in the spotlights non stop. The campaign is all about proving to be the one and only number one in decorative Kalanchoe. Of course, Calandiva is present at the IPM in Essen at a central spot in Hal 1, stand B15. 

Number 1
This year, it will become clearer than ever before why this is the only true Diva. If only because all decorative Kalanchoes originate from Leonardo, the first Calandiva ever. Moreover, before its introduction, each new Calandiva is submitted to the most extensive breeding and trial programme in the world.

Calandiva literally has the most petals within the entire segment of double flowered plants. Did you know for example, that each Calandiva floret bears at least 15 (often many more) petals? For each plant, this adds up to no less than 5000 petals! Should you wish to check this, please have a count. You will discover that this varies widely within the double flowered segment. Calandiva does truly have the most filled floret and this means it is the most floriferous and has the best look!
