Calandiva® number 1 in external sustainability test
From the very first start of the breeding process of Calandiva, shelf life and long lasting flowering take central stage. A critical, external test is due to fully test these Calandiva varieties to the max. This test is done by independent company named FlowerWatch. The varieties were taken off the auction and before filming started, they got a transport simulation. As you might know, transport isn’t stimulating the plant and flower. The films give a good picture of the plant life. ‘Start day 1’ in the film represents the first day in a florist shop. In the supermarket, the start would be about five days later.
